It's crazy to think that the worst moments can spawn into incredible things. I am a believer that good can come out of the bad because my community has done just that in order to help end gun violence.
It was on December 14, 2012, when 20 children and 6 faculty members were brutally murdered inside Sandy Hook Elementary school. This is the kind of tragedy that happens on the news, but not in your community, not in your neighborhood.
From this experience my community has band together in the support of ending gun violence around the world in hopes to save so many innocent lives. My Sandy Hook series hopes to express the growth my hometown has displayed and the unity we have all found in each other. We are #NewtownStrong 💚
